Uplifted design of the glazed steel door

The design of our glazed steel door has been improved. The new design has an inbuilt door closer. It is not just prepainted but powder coat painted in offwhite RAL 9016 for superb finish. The glass panel is as big as on the aluminium door and the handrail is perfectly matching the design of the control panel.

Inauguration of new premises at Scandinavian Lift Doors

2008-09-21, Lennart Gunnarsson and Mattias Bjerge are opening the new premises and thereby extand the present 1000 m² with yet another 500 m² area.

Mattias Bjerge and Lennart Gunnarsson started the company Scandinavian Lift Doors - SLD - in 2004. SLD is the market leading manufacturer of fire rated and non fire rated steel doors. The company was taken over by Cibes Lift in April 2008. Today 22 people are working at SLD and the company is steadily growing.

”SLD is a great contribution to the Cibes Group. The company has excellent products in a constantly growing market – both in Sweden and international. I am confident that it won't take long until we have to think about another expansion for SLD meaning more personal and further premises”, says CEO Johan Sandberg.

”Everybody at SLD is highly motivated and looking forward into a succesful future. We will celebrate our prosperousness by taking all the personal to the lift fair in Milan in November.”, says Lennart Gunnarsson.

The Cibes Group consists of Cibes Lift, situated in Järbo, Kalea Lifts in Gothenburgh, SLD in Degerfors and Axess 4 All in England.

Cibes Lift awarded Export Hermes 2008

Cibes Lift has been awarded, on the 28th August 2008, the prestigious prize Export Hermes 2008. The prize was handed over by Her Royal Highness the Swedish Crown Princess Victoria in conjunction with the World Trade Day at the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.

The Jury’s motivation was: Cibes Lift has, thanks to strong marketing management, technical flexibility and adaptation to the EC regulations become the European leading manufacturer of screw driven platform lifts. Cibes Lift has its headquarters in Jarbo outside Sandviken and has a subsidiary in the UK.

The World Trade Day is a joint arrangement between the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Ewa Björling, Minister of Commerce, was one of the speakers this year.

The Export Development Foundation has awarded Swedish companies with Export Hermes since 1981. It is given to companies who have shown extraordinary export successes (fast and stable export growth, innovative marketing, broad market penetration and sound finances). In total, 40 companies have received the Export Hermes prize.
